Not far away from Aranjuez it is located a small town named Chinchón, with a population of about 5,000 people.
Chinchón is famous for its Plaza Mayor. It is gorgeous! In the picture you can see some tables and chairs on Plaza Mayor and -in the background- Iglesia de la Asuncion, which is elevated.
The building on the right side is the Chinchón city hall.
Tables and chairs in Plaza Mayor of Chinchón.
During my visit to Chinchón, there were bullfights taking place at town, so Plaza Mayor was prepared for these events.
In many of the balconies at Plaza Mayor of Chinchón there are restaurants, where you can have lunch.
One of the small streets that take you to Plaza Mayor.

Using this door you can get to the restaurants located at the balconies ^^.

Small village house ^^.
Going up by the streets you can get to Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de la Asunción. It is a huge building, visible from every corner of Chinchón.
From here you can enjoy the beautiful views of the town. Here you can see Plaza Mayor in the middle and -in the background, right side- the old castle of Chinchón.
Tower of the old church Nuestra Señora de Gracia. The church was destroyed in the past, but the tower was rebuilt.
There is a said: Chinchón has a tower without church and a church without tower, it is about the tower of the pic, which has no church, while Iglesia de la Asunción -very close from here- has no tower.
Going down by the stone streets!

Amazing afternoon views from the castle of Chinchón.
The castle of Chinchón has a poor state of conservation. It is a shame, but 500 years are too many years!
Bridge for accessing the castle.
And this is the end of our tour by the beautiful town of Chinchón and its streets. I hope you enjoyed it!
