Making a small stop in the always warm city of Valencia, land of horchata and paella. One of my favorite corners of the Valencia is the City of Arts and Sciences. It is a really amazing architectural complex, designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava.
The first of the buildings is Palacio de las Artes Reina Sofía. The building is under works, so you can see gray parts that usually are white.
Self picture! :D
All buildings are surrounded by water, making impressive all the night lights.
Palacio de las Artes Reina Sofía is a huge building!
Enjoying the colors in the sky and the reflections on the water with the best company! ^^
On the background you can see Museo de las Ciencias Príncipe Felipe. On the right side you can see l'Hemisfèric, containing an IMAX cinema inside.
Detail of l'Hemisfèric. The building is like a big eye, opening and closing the eyelids.
Changes in the illumination of the buildings mean new opportunities for taking different photos!
One of my favorite pics of the gallery.
On the background you can see the bridge, Puente de l'Assut de l'Or (125 meters tall), and Ágora, a tennis court where from time to time concerts are also held.
Detail of Ágora.
I hope you enjoyed these pics of City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia during sunset!
