Recently an epoch police car exhibition took place in Getafe's streets, a small city next to Madrid. These vehicles have been used by the National Police Corps of Spain in the past. Some of them are more than 50 years old!
I took pics of all the cars and vehicles present at the exhibition, so everyone can enjoy them too ^^.
The oldest cars of the exhibition. In one sight you can see the evolution of the cars during the last decades.
Model built by Seat in 1960, gray color.
Inside of this Seat car. Nothing to do with today's cars!
A small visitor taking pics at the exhibition.
At some point of history, police cars turned gray.
At other point of history, police cars turned brown ^^.
Car made by Talbot.
Back to white and dark blue colors.
The most modern cars in the exhibition were produced during the nineties.
Now we take a look of the bikes!
Motorbike made by Sanglas, a Spanish producer that stop making vehicles during the eighties.
An upgraded model of Sanglas motorbike.
Electric starter was one of the tech improvements of this epoch.
Motorbike with onboard phone! ^^
The most modern bike at the exhibition is a scooter bike.
Now we go into offroad cars and vans.
Land Rover Santana, a very common car in the Spanish police float, specially at small towns.
Police van. They usually were known at "la lechera" because usually the riot policemen came out of the vans "repartiendo leches" (hitting people) ^^"...
I hope you enjoyed to view this epoch police vehicle collection!
