One of the most beautiful points of interest in Osaka is its castle, built more than 400 years ago, during the Middle Age of Japan. During our tour by the Osaka castle we walked by the same paths that were used by samurai warriors in the past. Without any doubt, this is a very special visit for me.
The castle is surrounded by a big park. We arrived to Ōsakajōkōen Japan Rail station, in the Osaka loop line.
The colors that you can see in the park that surrounds the castle are extremely beautiful. If I was to live in Osaka, I would come here almost every week ^^.
One of the things I noticed from Osaka is that here there are less foreign tourists than in Tokyo.
In order to get to the castle, you need to go through some big walls built of stone.
Views of one of the Osaka castle pits.
It is a little weird to to see the big contrast between the Osaka castle, built during the 16th Century, in front of some contemporary skyscrapers.
In the background you can see the castle, behind the huge walls.
By the way, the water color is not brown. What you see are many tree leaves floating on the water surface.
Crossing the bridge for getting into the castle. We are closer!
Skyscrapers in front of Osaka castle.
Views of the Osaka city from the castle. A really impressive sight.
Close picture of Osaka castle. It is very cool to watch this work of Japanese architecture from the Middle Age and imagine all that happened here: shoguns, samurais, ninjas...
Time of photos for memories! :D
This is me next to Osaka castle ^^.
WTF moment of the day where I saw two dogs on baby carts ^^.
Next to Osaka castle you can see many more things. The park surrounding the castle is huge.
Shinto temple next to Osaka castle ^^.
Beautiful red leaves.
Ceremony inside the shinto temple. Maybe it is a wedding ^^.
The Osaka castle park is also a great place for spending the whole day there ^^.
Leaving the park. In the background you can see the train station and, over everything, an elevated highway.
Young Japanese going to the park for a baseball game ^^.
I hope you enjoyed this new tour! :D
