Sunset in Odaiba 3

Odaiba has one of the most beautiful sunsets Tokyo can offer, in my opinion. The sea is usually very quiet as it is located on a bay. The Rainbow Bridge rises right in front of the immensity of a city that never seems to end.

This time I can see the Odaiba sunset of Odaiba with different eyes. Previously I was here just on vacation, but this time is not the same. Tokyo is now the city that welcomes me. However, I will always remain unsure whether I will be able to get used to such a huge city that always overflows my mind. Until now I was just used to cities much smaller than this one. Anyway. It is said that people end up getting used to everything in life. So let’s see how it goes.

In these waters the triathlon events and the swimming marathon of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games are supposed to be held. Now, less than 200 days for the planned start of competitions, but the uncertainty surrounding the event is maximum. Nobody knows if it will finally take place.

The year 2020, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, has put us all to the test and now we live together with an uncertainty that feels closer than ever. During this times, making plans for six months ahead looks like just dreaming.
